Ranch Rifle Course


Learn to Shoot Your Rifle and Protect Your Property 

In A Skill Development Class.


A defensive rifle training course reserved for ranch and/or expansive land owners who live in a rural environment.  Instructor travels to your location where the class is taught and conducted on your estate where you learn the basics of rifle shooting and target engagement out to distance.  Lessons in this 6 hour course include but not limited to rifle knowledge; proper handling; aiming; sighting in; zeroing; maintenance; fields of fire; use of cover; and ammunition.  An ideal class building confidence in shooting and defensive skills on your home acreage.  

Course includes instructor’s travel to your location up to 75 miles, study guide, and targets. 

Additional participants may attend the course for additional fee of $25 per each student.  Class size limited to four students ages 15 and up.

- Lessons Format -

  • Safety : An unyielding block of instruction dedicated to firearm safety concepts.

  • Mindset : Brief study in the attitude-perspective of owning-employing a firearm.

  • Handling : Lessons in related methods and procedures in operating your rifle.

  • Marksmanship : Principles to establish a solid foundation as a skillful shooter.

  • Dry Fire Session : Application of skills and techniques rehearsed prior to live fire.

  • Live Fire Session : Practical shooting drills in effective rifle target engagement.


- Required for the course-

  • Eyes and Ear Protection
  • 100 rounds of Ammunition per Student
  • Rifle in good working order with Iron Sights or Mounted Scope
  • Safe shooting area out to 200 yards with positive bullet backstop
